Hanoi - Sapa - Muong Hum 3 days / 4 nights

      Night 1: Night train to Lao Cai Station (C,G).  
    Our bus and guide will pick you up at your hotel and transfer you for the overnight train to Lao Cai Station. Enjoy the experience the romance of overnight train travel.
    Summary:

    • Accommodation: Soft sleeper in AC cabin.
    • Meal: Not applicable.
    Day 1: Lao Cai – Sapa (B/L/D)

    Welcome tour group at Lao Cai railway station and transfer to Sapa, high in the Hoang Lien range of mountain. Arrive at Sapa town and check in hotel. Trekking from hotel to Lao Chai (Black H'mong ethnic minority). Lunch on foot path, then trek through Ta Van (Giay ethnic minority), Rattan Bridge. Return to hotel by Jeep. Free evening.

     
    Summary:
    • Trekking: trek on dirt paths-downhill. Moderate grade.
    • Meals: Breakfast, Dinner.
     
    Day 2: Sapa – Sapa – Ham Rong moutain – Cat Cat village  (B/L/D)

    After breakfast, trekking to Ham Rong mountain, visit Orchid garden, Europe garden, Heaven gate... Lunch at hotel and then trek to Cat Cat village (Black H’mong tribe). Return to Sapa town. Free evening.

    Day 3:   Sapa – Muong Vi cave – Muong  Hum market  – Lao Cai Station – Overnight train back to Hanoi (B, L, D):

    After breakfast, transfer to Muong Vi cave one of “Vietnam’s natural heritage”. This cave rarely visited but the 1-to-2-hours trip along an underground river allows one to discover the natural sculptures created by water and mineral deposite over thousands year. After that, continue to Muong Hum market, the biggest cardamom market in the area, was already there during the French colonial period and serveed as a meeting place for the hill tribes: Giay, Dao, White H’mong, Hani. In the afternoon return to Lao Cai city, have dinner at the restaurant,  then bus will pick you to train station for overnight train back to Hanoi .

    • Transfer Sapa town – Lao Cai station: 45 minutes.
    Day 4: Arrive back to Hanoi :

    The transfers:
    In Hanoi, Our guide will accompany you to the train to show you your cabin and tell you how to deal with night train traveling in Vietnam.
    In Lao Cai, our guide will meet you at Lao Cai Railway Station in the morning of the first day. He also sees you off at Lao Cai Railway Station on the third day.
    When you get back to Hanoi on day 4, you can easily find a taxi to get to your hotel.

     
    What to bring:
    Trekking boot, sun block, hat, anti-insect repellent, sunglasses, rain coat, toiletries, original passport.
